Nasmec Sarum is a woman from the Amarr Empire who belongs to the Sarum house, one of the six royal families that compete for the imperial throne. Since she was little, Nasmec showed a great interest in science and technology, especially for the mysterious Jove race, which is believed to have a superior knowledge than the rest of the civilizations. Nasmec graduated with honors from the Imperial Academy of Sciences and joined the Ministry of Assessment, an agency in charge of investigating and approving new technological developments within the empire.
Nasmec soon stood out for her talent and dedication, but also for her rebelliousness and curiosity. Despite the strict religious and moral norms that govern Amarr society, Nasmec dared to explore the limits of what was allowed and forbidden, coming into contact with clandestine sources of information and technological smuggling. In secret, Nasmec established a network of contacts with agents of the Jove empire, who provided her with data and artifacts in exchange for favors and services. Nasmec was fascinated by the culture and history of the Jove, and aspired to learn more about them and their secrets.
However, her double life did not go unnoticed forever. One day, she was discovered by an agent of the Ministry of Internal Intelligence, who accused her of treason and heresy. Nasmec managed to escape by a hair's breadth, but had to leave her position and her family, who disowned and renounced her. Since then, Nasmec lives as a fugitive, seeking refuge in the darkest corners of space. Despite everything, she has not given up on her passion for the Jove, and continues to look for ways to contact them and get their help. Nasmec believes that the Jove are the key to the future of humanity, and that the Amarr Empire must change its dogmatic vision and open up to new possibilities.
