Eve Online from new player's perspective

-4 different exits from Jita area are being gatecamped by 4 different groups. Instead of meeting each other to have some fun fights, all groups stay on their own gate.

-A fleet of 7 people from side Y are chasing one solo newbro from side X. Meanwhile a fleet of 7 people from side X are chasing some solodude from side Y. Neither group wants to meet up. They continue looking for "fights" that are 100% winnable.

Any PvPer who has had one close fight 1v1 or smallgang, win or lose, knows the feeling. The adrenaline, the excitement. Anyone in their right mind who has experienced that feeling, knows it is objectively more fun than to gatecamp or blob soloplayers. Yet most Eve players CHOOSE the blobbing/gatecamping. Instead of making the choice to have more fun, more challenging fights, more excitement, they choose the other option.

Endless years of gatecamping/blobbing for that green killboard on some external site(zkill) - cause having that green killboard seems to be more important for most Eve players than to actually go out there, take risks, have challenging and fun fights.

That is Eve Online in a nutshell. The game is fucking awsome, the players in it are mostly trash, who dont realise they are sucking the fun out of this game for themselves and the other party. (с)Plebowski
