Melody Antollare

Raised on idyllic Caladan, but not satisfied to follow in the family business, Melody enrolled in the Imperial Academy of Astronavigation. With a fresh pilot's certificate, she signed on with the Ishale Coris distribution guild as a junior officer, with an eye to slowly build a corporate career.

However, fate had a different plan. IC came under a hostile takeover by Moradin Industries at precisely the wrong point - right when Melody was running a long-distance haul to Phion 4CR. Bereft of corporate protections, her ship, cargo, and crew were unceremoniously confiscated by the local pirate syndicates. Freeing herself from pirate servitude took two years, a lot of planning, even more money, and a tiny bit of dirty work... but that's a story for another day.

Finally free but poor, she jumped on a freighter headed to New Eden - a place where she had no connections, but also no enemies. Yet.
