Bio
Belenfer (bĕl-an-f\xe8r)
"Light travels faster than sound. That's the reason why some people seems bright until you hear them talk."
SPOKEN LANGUAGES:
- French
- English
ABOUT:
I wasn't born a capsuleer.
I became one because I wanted to understand what was beyond the limits imposed on ordinary men.
As a Deteis, I was raised with two simple principles :
- The individual has value because of what he contributes to the whole.
- Competence is not a virtue. It's an obligation.
My first years among the stars were spent in the company of the Servant Sisters of EVE.
Forty assignments into the Blood-Stained Stars, I had already learned that New Eden was considerably larger, stranger, and less forgiving than the State’s textbooks suggested. Then I made the mistake every capsuleer eventually makes.
I believed valuable cargo was worth the risk. Null security space corrected that assumption...
The ship was destroyed.
The cargo was lost.
So was my appetite for flying without understanding the environment around me.
I left New Eden soon afterward.
Ten years have passed.
The State, the cluster, even I have changed.
I have returned without the ambition of becoming famous, wealthy, or powerful.
Those things are consequences, not objectives.
I am here to learn.
To understand markets, ships, corporations, warfare, exploration and the people who make New Eden what it is.
To master the systems before attempting to master the frontier.
I learned once that valuable cargo attracts attention. I have no intention of learning it twice.
