FOUNDER'S NOTE:
When I was a young girl, maybe ten or so, my dad had this Garmur that he'd work on for hours every day. Always buying new parts, crawling around the undercarriage covered in microphasic grease, and polishing the canopy windows so shiny you could practically see across the constellation. Like most hobbyists, he told me I couldn't touch it 'til I was older.
On my eighteenth birthday, he told me it was finally time. He handed me his access codes and opened the loading port into his prized Garmur. It'd be an understatement to say that when I heard the engine start up, it gave me goosebumps on top of goosebumps. Never heard or felt anything like that before. We took that old ship for a joyride around the system, weaving through belts and even coming into a close scrap with a few pirates. What a rush!
Ever since that moment, I've been addicted to Garmurs. Their sleek early-aerospace design, the purr of the engines, and the speed! Don't get me started on the speed!
So if you're a fellow enthusiast who lives to be in the cockpit of a Garmur--Good to meet you.
