The Advanced Materials Research and Development (AMRAD) is a major Ammatar Mandate defense contractor and industrial corporation with core manufacturing concentrations in weapons and military and Consumer Electronics. AMRAD is one of the galaxy’s largest producer of guided missiles. Previously known as Four Horsemen Robotics and involved in Amarrian and Caldari special-mission starships until late YC118 and was purchased by The Luther Organization in YC119, adopting its present name at that time. The company has around 603,000 employees galaxy wide and annual revenues of approximately 25 billion Isk. More than 90% of AMRAD's revenues were obtained from military contracts and, as of the second quarter of YC119, it was the fifth-largest military contractor in the Cluster.
