Bio
Under the command of Admiral Wexford of the Gallente Federation's Navy Support Command (SUPCOM), Support Group 6 specializes in logistics, signals and reconnaissance. A twenty-year combat veteran, Wexford rose through the ranks of the Federal Navy as a scout and skirmisher and after being injured in combat, was given a teaching position at the Federal Navy Academy.
A need for specialized groups of Navy logistics personnel to operate in forward positions in State Protectorate space lead Navy Support Command to form Support Groups 2, 4 and 6. Support Groups 2 and 4 were to specialize in logistics of equipment and personnel, and signals and communication, respectively. Navy Command decided Support Group 6 would operate reconnaissance of plexes in enemy controlled systems. Fully recovered from his injuries, Wexford was promoted to Admiral and given command of Federation Navy Support Group 6.
Spies within the Gallente Federation alerted State Protectorate officials of the new post and dispatched agents in an attempt to break up the new recon team before they gained a foothold in the region. Admiral Wexford was betrayed by his appointed executive officer and killed.
Unknown to the State Protectorate Intelligence, the Federal Defense Union had begun work on a secret new cloning program. A clone of Admiral Wexford had been kept in stasis in the event of a security breach. Navy Support Command re-established Support Group 6, ordering Admiral Wexford to begin the reconnaissance work under the original mandate immediately.
