A hedge fund is a pot of money generated by multiple investors. The manager of the hedge fund uses market knowledge to invest this money and return a profit. A bit like corwdfunding, but for rich people.
I, Rex Regal, am a real world commodities trader for a multinational bank headquartered in Canary Wharf.
My job is to predict market trends of Copper and with this knowledge I trade the minerals market of EvE.
WHAT IS REGAL INC. INVESTMENT HEDGE FUND?
Regal INC. is an investment hedge-fund offering competitive rates on saved cash. Regal INC. will pay a quarterly rate of 15% of all invested.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
You deposit the amount you wish to invest and Regal INC. pays you 15% of the total invested, each quarter. You can withdraw your ISK at any time.
500mil ISK minimum with no maximum investment. Anything less than 500m ISK is too difficult to generate reasonable profits on, quickly. Anything above 10bn becomes specialist, please contact if you wish to invest +10bn. The rate could be negotiated higher for such investment.
WHAT IS REGAL INC.’S INCENTIVE?
Simply, a slice of the pie. If I am paying out 15% but generating 20, then that is 5% profit of someone else's money, for me. Just like the real world :)
WHY DON’T I JUST DO THAT MYSELF?
You can. It's whether you have the adaquet time & knowledge to successfully do so is the question. The idea here is Regal INC. generates income on your spare, unused ISK.
INSTRUCTIONS
1) Deposit the total amount you wish to invest to Regal INC.’s Corporate Account (right click > give money) [1] – A receipt will be then eve-mailed to you.
2) Go about your daily business
3) Send an eve-mail to Rex Regal when you wish to withdraw your ISK.
