October Remnant [VLAX]

When the Matari worlds were ravaged, a great fleet of ships fled into the Wildlands, one of the many that left amongst the Thukker migration to try and escape slavery. The Vlax Clan of the Thukker tribe ruled from a capital ship called the "Diaspora", which was destroyed by more powerful Amarr ships that followed after, decimating most of the old clan.

The October Remnant takes its name from October Vlax, the matriarch of the clan, who escaped along with several others. Though the traditions have all but been lost, a few claiming to be descendeants of that clan have banded together, finding each other through the Republic in which they had disappeared into.

Taking the Vlax name as a sign of homage, they have joined together in a caravan lifestyle, forsaking the new style of the republic for their deeper traditions, seeking out a life in the cluster free of the laws of any Empire, be it Matari or not.
