John Blick was born to Gallente Poliical Activists / Reporters who fought politically against slavery. They were so intense in their work they neglected John a bit in his teenage years and he associated himself with violent folks learning combat. His father came home and "rescued" John to bring him straight and narrow. John went back to school and recieved advanced industrial training.
