"Ich bin eine Berliner!" With these now recognizable words, Maximillian, or simply "Max" as he likes to be called, declares himself, if only in broken German, not only ruler of the famed city, but all of the Germanic peoples. His claim is simply this: he is a direct decendant of the Nordic god Odin.
He's been told he has a bit of an ego, but considers this small words coming from smaller people. While he despises the recent history of the great state of Germany, in fact has many Jewish friends, he does promote a "healthy" (as he puts it) love of country.
In the not too distant past, he and Inibri en Chalune had a "thing", but both have decided to be "just friends". However he isn't quite certain she still doesn't lord their rocky past over him, as some sort of motivation to continue fueling her seemingly never ending desire to construct larger and larger vessels and structures. "No matter", says Max to himself, "who am I kidding, she will always have my heart!"
