In YC118, late spring, Cadelle Narana was an officer graduate of a law enforcement academy on Gallente Prime (Luminaire VI). About a month into service, her unit was called to a bank robbery, but the case quickly escalated into a hostage situation afterwards. Narana's commanding officer went in to negotiate for the release of the civilians, but the criminals refused to let them go, and a firefight broke out as GPD stormed in to get the situation under control.

During a security sweep of the building, Narana discovered a bomb, which almost immediately detonated. Days later, she woke up in a hospital bed, and things weren't looking good.
