Bio
As an echidna farmer, I can tell you that milking them is very difficult.
You have to coax the echidna into extending it's milking probe. Once that's done it requires a lot of verbal affirmations, like 'you're so beautiful' and 'that's a good echidna'.

The milking process requires special milking tweezers, and you need to warm them up before applying them or the echidna will retract it's milking probe and become aggressive.

Since echidna spit venom, this is not ideal.

If your echidna does start spitting venom, it's best to cover your eyes and whisper 'i love you, i'm sorry, it won't happen again' until the echidna calms down again.

Echidna eggs are largely coveted for their creamy texture and their high protein content.

Each echidna can lay up to fifteen eggs in one clutch, but they're known for being stingy creatures, so it's imperative that you bribe the echidna into sharing it's eggs with you.

Echidna's maternal attachments are flimsy at best, so often the bribe need not be any more extravagant than a few crisp bank notes, or a small bump of cocaine. Be certain when bribing echidna with narcotics that you adjust the dosage properly for their tiny bodies as overdosing echidna are known to cause a lot of property damage.

Never give your egg laying echidna bath salts, as they are prone to violent outbursts and name calling.

Proper echidna farming is an important and lucrative life skill and more people should endeavor to practice such skills. When the inevitable apocalypse comes, we may need to resort to echidna farming for survival.

Echidna also make excellent pets, and are loyal companions. The average echidna can bench press 340lbs, or 220kilograms. They can't convert between imperial and metric and it causes their performance to vary depending on which measurements are applied to the weights they are lifting.

Echidna are also extremely selfish, and exceedingly jealous, so avoid polyamorous relationships with echidna as they will eventually devolve into bickering and back biting.

One echidna can supply enough milk and eggs to support a small family. They are also possessed of a stellar business acumen, so are often well suited to balancing check books and filing taxes for the family in question. Remember that echidna are obligate carnivores, which is a kind way of saying that they are very picky eaters.
