They called it 'play time' and it was seldom a one on one affair. The only silver lining was that the ship always had surplus narcotics, the blue pill became my favourite. My escape. Five years in and they started to relax, I guess they thought I'd accepted my place in the world, they were wrong.
During a station drop off I gathered a few additional supplies and reprogrammed the ships computer to reroute aux power to the neural link of the pilots chair. Instant brain soup. The others? Turns out they were right, you shouldn't mix Strong Crash with Spiced Wine.
