I am a miner.

To be a miner in EvE requires the sort of mind-numbing task-completion skills that are usually outsourced to machines. However, you can't get the same level of dedication from a robot that you can a person, because what would a robot do if there was a power cut? Nothing.

What would a person do? Switch to their laptop and use mobile data.

For example, I'm the sort of person who won't "Nerd Rage" if you blow up my Mack, I'll just switch back to a Retriever for a while.

This puts my ore yield down by roughly 20%, which in turn puts the price of everything in EvE made using minerals up by the same ammount.

If you really think about it, you shouldn't be killing miners, you should be helping them.

If I'm afk in a Mackinaw for more than 5mins I deserve to die - much in the same way that if you leave an expensive car in a bad neighbourhood you can't complain if its tires go missing.
