Okay so I've been knocking around the stars for only a few weeks now but already I've seen and done things and met people that have made me question and doubt the values imposed on my by my upbringing. A ward of the Caldari state becuase my parents separated a month after I was requisitioned, I was nurtured on a steady diet of nationalistic rhetoric and propaganda and raised to believe that I owed everying to The State. While there may be a thread of truth in that from a material standpoint, I am no longer convinced that my soul and my allegiance are the de facto property of The State. Time will tell.
