Like many, I was ship-born, though Pop jokes that, being an "EUFI newt", I was ship-decanted. My mother had refused cloning, and died of old age decades before I was “tanked”. Pop kept some of her genetic material, and in time, chose to blend it with his own to make me.
I grew up aboard ship, raised mostly by Pop and the ship’s A.I., Dora. When I was ready to go it solo, they dropped me off in Tamo, with enough ISK for a decent, but unfortunately, lonely start. Having had an A.I. for a nanny left me socially awkward. Also, (thanks to Pop’s genetic contribution) I was seldom considered attractive by a sober woman in a well-lit room. Ten years of tending bar helped on both counts. I earned enough ISK for a dependable ship, and a reputation for my unique (and potent) drinks. If you’re ever at a bar in Unamon, try my favorite creation, a “Pure Blind”. It’s grown quite popular in the area and I proudly credit it for the rising number of ugly children born there. - o7
