Disappeared in YC118 in what was later revealed to be a close Drifter encounter, connected to an emergency warp attempt while investigating the archive room of a rare Aniokis Superior Sleeper Cache.
Definite confirmation of a burn scan only arrived 7 years later, along with his consciousness, in YC125; no log or memory of the capsule destruction could be recovered or coerced. Refused all consciousness integrity scans since then, and his behavior turned slightly erratic. Research into the remrants of, and the preservation of original Sleeper entities over their enigmatic overlords has apparently been halted.
Nevertheless, the Center for Advanced Studies allowed him his new eccentricities, given his tenure and position as an expert on the Sleeper Civilization.
