Lando Caldarian

Lando Caldarian was born on the planet Socorro approximately thirty years before the Battle of Yavin. During his youth, he became a smuggler and a gambler, playing a card game known as sabacc. He traveled throughout the galaxy and piloted a minmatar freighter called the Millennium Falcon, which saved his life on numerous occasions. He ended up losing the Millennium Falcon to Han YOLO in a game of sabacc—one in which YOLO definitely cheated. After losing the Falcon, Calrdarian put an end to his days as a smuggler. He fancied himself a respectable businessman, and refers to himself as a "galactic entrepreneur."
