Bio

Richard Torvel is a man who never walked a single path. Instead, he carved his own — winding, risky, sometimes chaotic, but always leading farther than he intended. His beginnings were no different from those of any other capsuleer: a starter corporation, a handful of early ships, first mistakes, and the harsh, unavoidable lessons of New Eden.

His true development began when he joined Allied Industrial Mercs. He spent barely five months there, yet it was enough to leave a lasting memories. He fought his first war, anchored his first POS, learned how to organize operations and make decisions that carried real weight — for a corporation, and sometimes for survival.

In the years that followed, he gathered experience in almost every field New Eden had to offer: he built ships, traded, fought, ran combat missions for the Caldari Navy, and even ventured into the depths of Abyssal Deadspace. It was there that he left a part of himself behind. The Abyss forgives no one. He entered prepared, confident in his skills, but as the timer ticked its final seconds and his ship bled out under relentless fire, he learned a violent truth: not everyone returns. His hull erupted in a violent bloom of energy; his pod was crushed. Death came fast and merciless — his consciousness torn from his body and thrown into a waiting clone, leaving behind the hollow, icy void known only to those who have truly died in the Abyss.

He is not a master of any discipline — and he never claimed to be. Torvel believes that a pilot who stops learning dies faster than his ship in a Triglavian space. That philosophy led him to establish his own corporation: Torvel Electric Power Company. Not as an empire, not as a tool for domination — but as a place where one can work on their own terms, grow, learn and develop. With a face that has seen much and the eyes of someone who has started from nothing more than once, Torvel has become a versatile, seasoned pilot.

Because In New Eden, some fly for wealth. Some fly for war. And some, like Torvel — fly simply to see how far they can go before something explode.
