It has been said that the greatest of assassins are not those who live in infamy, but those who live unknown. Omnirus was such a one. Until the night he encountered Daegon the Destroyer, an ancient Lich Lord reborn from long death. Daegon sought one who may perform a vile act such as had never before been attempted - the slaying of every Holy Lucerna. Omnirus accepted the job, and with it, a black bangle of power to aid him in the quest. Daegon told Omnirus that only with this artifact could the Lucernae be slain. Daegon did not tell him that eventually it would enslave Omnirus and bind him forever to do Daegon's bidding. As Omnirus slew the Lucernae, their life forces were improsined in the Onyx stone in the black bangle. Omnirus craved the power that surged through him from the onyx - and he began to change. He began to change into something not human. Now Omnirus creeps, more beast than man, forever in the shadows, forever doing Daegon's will.
