Daegon long ago sold his soul to gain the power of a Lich during the Age of Destruction on Old Earth. Though his body was destroyed in the divine fire that consumed the face of the world at the beginning of the 1,000 year reign of the Lion, Daegon's essence was preserved in a phylactery buried deep within the earth. Centuries later, the phylactery was unearthed, and Daegon was slowly reborn at the end of the 1,000 year reign. Now, Daegon seeks to end the Age of Peace by destroying those who preserve it.
