Although of Minmatar birth, Givi was raised from infancy in the Caldari regions after his parents fled the Amarr opression. Even though he is aware of his heritage, he has fully embraced the Caldari way of life.

His views of the wars have solidified his love of the Caldari and his drive to fight, but doesn't hold the resentment that one might expect. This is less true when it comes to the Gallente. He fights the Amarr's self-proclaimed elitism and opposes the Minmatar enslavement, but feels the Gallente are a false ally that lend a minimum of aid while never providing enough for them to win their freedom completely. The gallente have no problem with capitalizing on the Minmatar struggle, making them even worse than the Amarr.

As for the minmatar Tribes, he feels that if the Tribal Leaders spent less time regarding their own arrogance and focused on the good of the Minmatar as a whole, they would have been far more successful. Thus he finds supporting the Tribal leaders difficult.
