I mostly fly around having a good time. My goals in Eve are probably not what you think they are.
I hang out in the EVE University (E-UNI) channel.
There is lots to do in Eve, even if you're alpha.
Eve's maps are not as useful as the true Eve map at dotlan.
The two most useful programs outside Eve are EVEMon for planning your skills, and Pyfa for planning your ships. You should work The Magic 14 skills into your plan quite early.
You can look up prices using Evepraisal.
When you want to know about something, check the UNIWIKI.
Beginner Fits has good low SP fits.
Eve is a PvP game you can lose. More just just a fight or a battle; you can lose everything if you make the wrong moves. At first you won't even understand what you can do. That's OK. It's just a game and you can learn to play it well. Can't deal with losing? Can't deal with losing to other players? Eve is not the game for you.
