T'hemryan Wiccan

By the firelight, tears falling, ebony ghosted pearls before the setting night, she sits. She watches, flames flickering, blurred in her manifested pain. Her arms wrapped around knees, shaking; thoughts screaming, unknowingly flinching at the too loud pop-crackle of the burning wood.

His fingertips lighter than thoughts on her pale skin; closing her eyes to the pain: how could he be gone? A shuddered breath against her forehead, his words: "They won't have you. I won't lose you. I will find you. "

He’d shed his tears over her, both so broken. He’d thought her lifeless, so cold even then. Shivering she wrapped her arms tighter around her knees, the fire powerless to fight this chill. He’d come for her, blind, nothing but the faint echoes of her thoughts invading his fevered dreams- her cries for someone to save her. He’d come. He’d fought. He’d nearly died. And he had saved her… to lose her now? Was she worth all this pain?
