Perhaps the galaxy's most infamous former high-class escort to the Jita wealthy elite, Paladona is well known for being the charming but ruthless head of the cartel responsible for most of the illicit booster trade in Gallente space. She is, however, best known for her alleged connection to the disappearances of several wealthy Jita businessmen and the subsequent political scandal. Caused by the dismissal of all charges against her whilst she was having a very public affair with the Jita Chief of Police, the scandal was as short lived as their relationship and the Chief's tenure; indeed, the chief has not been seen or heard from since the dismissal. The Jita Police, eager to distance themselves from this bad publicity, maintain the position that the case against Paladona was closed due to a lack of evidence whilst the Chief, they claim, took an "early retirement package" to an undisclosed location.
