It is said, that only in death, do we know true freedom. I disagree. Freedom is objective. Whether it be freedom from tyranny, freedom from addiction, or freedom from self, each man creates his own paradise. For me, my paradise is among the stars. Flying through the cosmos, traveling through the vastness of empty space. While out there, I find not loneliness, but seclusion. In this seclusion, I have no other choice but reflect on my own self, and in so doing I begin a long journey of self-reclamation. A journey that ends with my ascension into a higher being. Not one of the physical realm, but one of the mental, and emotional realms. I find it important that I not ever forget, nor should I deny, my shackles that hold me here. The physical is the only way that I may experience pain, and in turn love, loss, joy. It is through these experiences, that I may change myself on the inside. And with a better interior, in time I shall have a better exterior. Do the same, and you shall be free.
