New Eden is a sprawling patchwork of star gates, jump bridges and unstable wormholes. Every minute, countless capsuleers rely on science far beyond their comprehension as they are transported light years in mere seconds, en route to glory, death, or desolation.

As large as the labyrinth of New Eden's traffic network is, aspiring capsuleers soon discover that it is not growing. New star gates, capable of taking us beyond the cluster on known solar systems, cannot be built. Modern science prohibits it. But what if those cosmological challenges were overcome? What effect could a new era of exploration and expansion have on the people of New Eden? Who would gain? Who would suffer? And what wonders lie beyond the cosmic horizon?

We hope that in the coming decade, we will glimpse the answers to some of these questions, as the immortals rise and bring us into a new age of mankind.
