Ralph is special. Ralph knows he is special because his Mom kept telling him so. Any time Ralph would do something cute, funny, naughty, or half-way intelligent, his Mom would say "Ralphie, you are sooo special...."

Special people shouldn't need to live by the rules that non-special people abide by. Ralph is out to have a good time and really doesn't care how others may feel about that. Ralph isn't really a bad guy, He just doesn't care very much, Ralph has no political leanings, no philosophy of life, no moral compass.

Unfortunately, the Universe doesn't seem to understand how truly special Ralph is. This, at times, can make things "interesting" for him.

Shooting folks isn't something that Ralph particularly enjoys, but Mister Simms pays him pretty well and he needs the isk. If he is honest with himself, there is a certain thrill in having his ship blown up around him and barely escaping iin his pod. Its just too bad about the rest of the crew....
