Scopus Hanslap

Scopus Hanslap was a child slave, working in dangerous mines throughout his childhood. He took to the danger, and grew used to the fact that any day could be his last. While Scopus was always a briliant child he laxed in the apathy and lived as well as he could in assumed helplessness. However luck would see him freed of the mines and into Minmatar Space as a student at the Pator Tech School.

At the school Scopus absorbed the curriculum at an accelerated pace. Scopus apatheticly completed his assigned curriculum with a slave-like demeanor. Upon his graduation day, acceptence into the capsule program, and subsequent death, Scopus still basked in the bliss he'd worn as his armor in the mines. Perhaps this shroud of bliss, more than any other reason, kept Scopus from learning one of the most important lessons throughout the process; how to be ambitious.

Now, as Scopus leaves the school, perhaps he will find it as he takes to the skies again. Perhaps he has it in himself to be Brave.
