Capsuleer Corporate Biography File
Federation Civil DataNet Archive
The Corporation known as IFC began not as a military enterprise, but as a small Gallente Industrial cooperative operating along the unstable commercial arteries between Federation and low-security frontier space. While many capsuleers sought glory through piracy, soverignty wars, or political ambition, IFC developed a reputation for something less glamorous but far more durable; persistence.
Founded by a small cadre of independent Gallente capsuleers, the organization initially survived through contract hauling, ore acquisition, planetary resource processing, and limited security operations supporting Federation aligned trade routes. Early records indicate the corporation operated with only a handful of active capsuleers, though outsiders frequently mistook the group for a much larger organization due to the efficiency and coordination of its fleet operations.
Internal communications recovered from public GalNet exchanges suggest IFC intentionally maintained a close knit operational doctrine. Each pilot specialized heavily within their field while remaining cross trained in logistics and emergency response procedures. This structure allowed the coporation to continue functioning even during periods of severe market disruption, pirate interdiction, or regional instability.
The corporation's industrial division became its backbone.
Mining detachments operating under IFC banners were know for long duration deployments into isolated asteroid fields where they would establish temporary extraction operations protected by rapid response drone wings. Ore and planetary materials were refined internally whenever possible, reducing dependence on outside infrastructure. Over time, the corporation expanded into manufacturing and trade speculation.
Unlike many capsuleer organizations that drifted toward ideological extremism or outright warlordism, IFC retained a distinctly Gallente identity. Federation citizens who encountered the corporation often described its personnel as pragmatic, independent, and usually professional for capsuleers. Though not officially aligned with the Federation Navy, IFC vessels routinely accepted security contracts and humanitarian work.
