"It is fun, because it is so hard, so brutal, so unforgiving, that your accomplishments matter. It is fun because when you fail, you collapse in a heap of depression in spite of yourself. When you succeed, you scream "YES" at the top of your lungs. When you spend seven months setting up for a war, the outcome of that war really, really matters to you. EVE is fun like extreme skiing. Seven days of boredom followed by a sudden helicopter ride and 30 minutes of heart-pounding adrenaline."
