At age 16, Mr. Stash had already achieved renowned hacker status by becoming the first juvenile hacker to be sentenced to juvenile detention for a full period of 19 months in 23,220. Going by the alias "3xpl01d", Stash was charged with hacking into computer systems belonging, to Senate and the Federal Intelligence Office. His hacks were harmless, but he stole sensitive information and the security breaches required extensive downtime in order to secure the systems, which cost tens of billions of ISK. After Mr. Stash's arrest, his lawyer convinced the judge that Mr. Stash's problem was similar to a drug or gambling addiction. He served little over a year in prison at the low-security Federal prison in Ignoitton. He then spent six months in a small residential treatment program that emphasizes the 12-step Life Recovery model. No additional information is known about the results of his treatment or his actual release date.

It is in this period that the location of Mr. Stash continuesly seemed to be eluding the governement forces, while his exploits over time grew more notorious and legendary according to various residentials living around said market's old location.
In 23,236, Federal intelligence agents raided his cabin as part of an investigation into what was then called the largest botnet for hacking into systems of many large businesses and stealing information as part of an identity implementation project-ring that netted countless trillions of isk.
