Heatherina Warander Elisetha Audanie suddenly and unexpectedly gave birth in an animal sanctuary just outside Hull in early YC 90. The birth was tragically interrupted by a genetically-modified gibbon who stole the babe from her mother's arms and scampered away into some nearby bushes. When eventually caught by the local authorities three weeks later and brought in for questioning, the distraught primate reported that the child reminded him too much of his late wife Bananfig, who had been lost in the great molasses collapse of YC 88.

Vis's mother, being a trusting lady, thought nothing of the stark difference between what she remembered her child looking like and gurgling hairball sitting before her, and brought up the monkey as her own.

After some prohibitively expensive plastic surgery and laser hair removal, Vis stole her mother's assault frig and joined a nearby corp in an effort to pay off her cosmetic-correction debts, though has been unable to as of the time of writing.
