Sai Nault has no clear memories of a time before he was a human experiment at the hands of Amygdala Farms. Based on his investigation, he believes that he was the only surviving "volunteer" of their initial conditioning program. Shortly after he was completed, they switched to clone blanks to reduce the likelihood of rejection of the conditioning and the resulting psychosis. Although originally completely docile and compliant, the conditioning appears to be deteriorating over time. Although he has not recovered memories of his life before except in occasional flashes of fleeting emotion, he has begun to regain his will and mental autonomy. One would think that he would be angry at those who did this to him, To the contrary, he retains a deep loyalty to his "masters". They have granted him focus and purpose and he repays them with his devotion.
