Kidnapped as a child by Amarrian pirates, he was sold into slavery and witnessed his father's death following a ransom drop gone wrong. Having seen first hand his captors' brutality and utter lack of conscience in swelling the ranks of their slaves, he vowed to one day exact vengeance on the slavers and their ilk.

With escape always on his mind, he sought to learn the inner workings of the slave ship he was laboring under while keeping his natural gift for engineering under wraps. His chance at salvation finally came when, in the midst of an attack, he was able to steal away in one of the escape pods...but not before he had quickly and efficiently disabled the ship's defenses.

And as the pod was rocked by the explosion that scattered the pieces of his torment across space, he was finally able to breathe again as a free man.

Now, he journeys through space with one goal in mind -- destroy the evil that is the slave trade.
