Buzz Lightyears older brother, Warp Lightyear, has always been an outstanding member of Star Command. He returned from a long mission away to find that his brother, Buzz, had also enlisted. Buzz did well in Star Command until his insatiable appetite for sweets lead him to steal a Command General's 500 million isk delicacies. The General was enraged and quick to act. Even though he was not the most intelligent he knew he could not get away with murder. Not in these law loving, high security systems. Instead, he shrunk Buzz down using outlawed tech and had him discharged due to the inability to perform simple actions such as pressing large buttons and loading ammo.
Eventually Warp Lightyear tracked down his brother and went to visit him. Finding him insane, living out his life as a small child's toy on some primitive planet. Warp decided it was for the best to leave Buzz behind to live out his care free toy life until the outlaw tech could be found... along with a good psychiatrist :P
