These are the last words my father spoke to me before sending me to college. He died a week later in a hauling accident, so THEY say. I don't believe THEM. So here I am, struggling in this so-called life. I sit here in my pod, wondering if this is all we are, Slaves to ourselfs? I can go out mine til my hull is full, kill all the serpentis scum I want, explore wormholes to no end, and in the end die a horrific death in my ship, just to wake up in this station to do it again. Where does it end? They gave me this opportunity to do whatever I want, whenever I want. Why?
