Run the tutorial missions completely
then...
1. Spend real dollars for one PLEX, fly to a trade hub station (Hek, Rens, Dodixie), Redeem the PLEX (ALT + Y) at the station, sell the PLEX. This will give you starting capital with which to buy your first ships and modules.
2. Powergrid Management and CPU Management to level 5. Cybernetics Lvl 4
3. Buy +4 implants (1-5)
4. Train for missiles
5. Train to fly a Caracal). use T1 modules while you train for T2 modules
6. train to fly 4 The Corp
7. Once trained in the Exhumer you can mine for isk in the asteroid/ice belts while you train for a Battleship with Tech 2 modules.
8. Once you have a battleship you can run Level 3 missions and then Level 4 missions to get more isk and vary your play experience.
9. Use the HELP Channel often!
