How can you argue that empires are without liberty? The universe has no inherent concept of rights, only of the freedom for every life form to achieve what progress they can for entropy's sake, regardless of others. Those that withhold progress at the artificial boundaries of justice risk inefficiency. It is their duty to take measured choices to influence and control others, for ineffecient systems are rightly competed out of existence. Of course, abusive mechanisms can be inefficient too.
Let us take inspiration from great empires! Yet when they fall, we shall rejoice, for progress, though often costly, is always in the long-term interest of all.
Amarr may be a worthy empire, yet it is Caldari who shall inherit New Eden's successes. They align themselves with measured freedoms to compete, and believe in the righteousness of capital over man.
Without warfare we seek our eventual demise at the hands of entropy. All life seeks to expand and test boundaries, it is the reason for existence.
The only sin is to ignore this truth.
