Hard-learned rules for newbs (like me):
0. The vets aren't kidding: if you can't afford to replace it, don't fly it. Even in highsec.
1. Warp to 0 rarely does, particularly when you need it to.
2. Never ever under any circumstances engage in PvP in a PvE fit.
3. Bring back up.
4. Bring more back up than that.
5. If in doubt, retreat, then refer to rules 3 and 4.
6. Show up without suitable a ship? Guess who's getting the bait fit!
7. All your early ship losses will be your own damn fault. All of them. Yes, even that one. Analyze your mistakes & learn from them.
8. Tears are delicious. Don't whine in Local. Relish when others do.
9. If the deal is advertised in Local, it's always a scam.
10. The only reason you're mad at the other guy is that you're pissed at yourself for screwing up.
11. Have fun, dipshit. It's a game.
12. You will ignore these rules, then realize as your first not-so-cheap Battlecruiser explodes that I was right. You're an idiot.
