This is a blob, and inside it is a tiny little pixie. If you pop the blob, the pixie will be freed and he’ll grant you three wishes. But if you burst the blob’s soft membrane, you’ll also hurt the pixie and he will die.

This huge dilemma was presented to the king of Portugal and it drove him mad. He took his wife to the top of the tallest tower in the land and tried to imprison the tower inside her. This didn’t work immediately so he tried to feed his wife tower bricks, hoping that eventually the entire tower will fit inside her belly.

Surely, a cruel punishment for the tower, but it was something that had to be done. After miraculously shoving three bricks down his wife’s throat, he suddenly felt great sadness and saw the error of his ways. He tried to free the tower, so he slit his wife’s belly open and took the three bricks out, but the tower was already very mad and it collapsed on him.

The mystery of the pixie blob still remains.
