Born on a mining colony just over 26 years ago to a miner and a nurse, he wasn't in for a pleasent start to life within this universe. He had his hardship of working the mines from the age of 4, given a pick to pluck the ore that was left behind by the gargantuan machines, tearing apart the astroid they were based upon.
By the age of 16 he was working a small piece of drilling aparatus, stationary and used to dig down-wards in relation to their gravitation generators, his mother had passed away 2 years ago by this point and his father was dying of a popuar lung illness that long time miners have faced, too poor to get aid, his end was inevitable and they both knew it. James had pledged that he would leave the desolate rock he worked, played and lived on.
