What I've learned so far:
1.: This game isn't fair, get used to it now.
2.: Don't fly a ship you can't afford to lose.
3.: You will lose your ships. Someone will always have more DPS then you.
4.: Don't go AFK in space, you come back to a pod.
5.: No matter what ship you pick, someone will say you picked the wrong ship.
6.: Don't trust anyone, not even your alts.
7.: If you have to ask "Is this a scam?", IT IS A SCAM!"
8.: Alot of the info is in game, you are going to have to do alot of reading and research. (There are Wikis (and the Plural is important))
9.: If all fails, shoot it. (Hindsight 20/20: Start with shooting stuff)
