Sasha Karde

Born a slave in the Amarr Empire, Sasha's parents managed to secure transport for them on a freedom transport bound for Gallente space when she was 4 years old. Unfortunately, it was not to be. One of the ship's crew sold the captain out, and at the final gate out of Amarr space, the Royal Navy intercepted and opened fire on the transport. The skillful crew managed to fly the severely damaged transport past the blockade, but not before the captain, some of the crew and many of the Matari slaves had been killed or injured. Sasha's parents were among the dead.

Sasha was fostered out to the family of a Gallente merchant by the name of Amelio Karde, where she was raised with their son, Falconius.
