"I don't care who wins or who loses in this war; this great war, War of Worlds, whatever you want to call it. I have no loyalty, either to the victors or to the losers. I'm an artist. I'm a poet, a muse, of industry. I mine ore, process it, and with it, I create art in the form of ships, riggings, guns, and munitions; commodities with value and aesthetic. Whether or not these commodities are used to wage war, to kill, to drag fathers from their children and used to terrorize populations, to level planets, it's all not my concern. Such decisions and moralities lie upon the shoulders of those who purchase them. My only concern is that the customers pay me well for my time and labor, and if grand profits are the result of war and the mass-purchasing of my commodities, then let this beautiful art consume the entire universe."
