Jack was born under Amarran rule, and was a freedom fighter during the Great Rebellion. He was among the generation of freedom fighters that earned their right to become a capsuleer; however instead of focusing on becoming an important member of the militia as expected he focused on being an industrialist. Things did not go quite as well as he hoped, but his fortuntes were changed by an very unexpected source. An Amarran Industrial and Trade Corp, the Sanguine Illumination took him under their wing. Now he has moved on.
