Grenchler was raised by his father, as his mother died at an early age. He never knew her name, or even her face, but it never much bothered him. His father was not a powerful man. He was a friend of the Minmitar, which lead to him being an outcast in Caldari society.

Grenchler saw how his father was treated, and learned to manipulate people at a young age, getting attention for disowning his father. He joined the Caldari Military once he turned of age, but after the discovery of the technology for mind transfer, he killed himself and moved to a clone. He was pronounced dead, and now roams the stars, in search of ways to uphold his fathers ambitions of one day allying himself with the Minmitar Republic.

His preference for large ships and firepower at the sacrifice of health is known by his friends, as is his utter disdain for armored ships, prefering the shielding associated with Caldari ships.
