The future may be blurred
By time and space
But some things may be inferred
In this time and place

Our limitations do exist
Definitions of who we are
Not boundaries to resist
Merely a guide so far

Failures stand throughout the past
Landmarks to what we were
Tragic memories unsurpassed
By the future we prefer

Blurred potentials unforseen
Lie lightly on the mind
Divergent possibilities convene
In a reality undefined

But definitions do stand
Unseen though they may be
Our actions they may remand
But our thoughts they free
