The Vherokior Tribe is one of the seven great Minmatar Tribes. Originally nomads in Matar's vast and inhospitable desert regions - most of which are currently submerged as a result of bizzare melioration program implemented by the Republic government instigated by Gallentean social experimentators - the Vherokior are among the most diverse individuals in the Republic. They can be found in professions ranging from doctors to mystics, scholars to merchants, cybernetwork infiltrators to janitors. Their quiet work ethic and widespread family ties allow them unlimited social mobility with access to both the best and worst that society has to offer. While politically underrepresented in the Republic, the Vherokior are more than capable of influencing policy, and have no qualms with using that influence to benefit a relative or associate. The practice is common in the private sector as well, where Vherokior clan-run businesses thrive by avoiding the bureaucratic red tape of official channels.

Drawing inspiration from their nomadic ancestry, wanderlust runs strong with many Vherokiors. While some manage to curb their thirst for adventure, there are those who simply cannot settle down in one place for long. Never at rest, they will always be lured by the horizon, as there are places to see and riches to be discovered. This kind of persons, males and females alike, are largely born to one of the three most prominent Vherokior tribal bloodlines originally known as Drifters, later as Roamers (which are actually variant translations of the same Old Matari term, and although the former appears to capture the meaning more precisely, it was rather awkwardly misplaced by not-so-well-versed newsmakers just a while ago)
